Kat Kim Choroco

Former Head of Industry, Retail at Google

Katherine (Kat) is an inspired Marketing and Business Leader, bringing over 15 years of diverse omni-client strategy and product marketing experience in the retail industry. Passionate about crafting customer-focused marketing strategies, Kat served as the Retail Head of Industry at Google, collaborating with major retail advertisers to drive business and customer growth. Her marketing leadership experience includes iconic global brands and retailers such as Chanel, Calvin Klein, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Kat holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley. Based in New York City, she enjoys traveling with her family and discovering new baking recipes in her free time.

 

Amish Tolia

Founder & CEO, Leap

Amish Tolia is the CEO / Co-Founder of Leap, an omnichannel retail platform for modern brands. Amish has been named one of 15 execs revolutionizing retail by Business Insider and has successfully raised over $75MM dollars to help grow Leap into a platform of over 500 employees which powers over 65 brands across 100 stores in 12 markets. As featured in the WSJ, NY Times, Boston Globe, Inc Magazine - some of today's most recognizable and fastest growing brands leverage the Leap platform including the likes of True Classic, Malbon Golf, Ring Concierge, Vici and Rent the Runway to name a few. Prior to starting Leap, Amish has co-founded and successfully exited 3 companies across the consumer and marketing technology industries. He currently resides in NYC with his wife and is originally from Detroit, Michigan. 

 

Amanda Bacal

Senior Vice President, Marketing at Joor

Amanda McCormick Bacal is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at JOOR, the fashion industry’s leading wholesale management ecosystem, processing nearly $20 billion in wholesale transactions annually. More than 14,000 brands and 600,000 curated fashion buyers connect on the platform – including clients such as LVMH, Tapestry, Valentino, and Tory Burch, as well as notable retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Harrods, Printemps, and Dover Street Market. Amanda has 20 years of fashion industry experience delivering both brand and business growth for global organizations. Prior to JOOR, Amanda held executive leadership roles at Pronovias Group, Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University. She currently resides in New York with her husband and two children.

 
 
 

Prithvik Kankappa (moderator)

COO, Impact Analytics

Prithvik Kankappa is the Chief Operating Officer at Impact Analytics and has been part of its journey from the start. He has ~20 years of data analytics, product management, consumer marketing and startup experience and has led various data science and AI software implementations for leading brands and Fortune 500 clients. He was also the founder of a location-based advertising platform and mobile-payment processing firm and has led diverse projects in retail. As the COO of Impact Analytics, a leading Enterprise SaaS company, Prithvik now focuses on creating products for data-driven decision making and is always exploring new product ideas to take to market.
